Heylo,

I have noticed, that my second harddrive has been making noises for quite some time now, I have recorded an mp3 of it making these sounds -

god damn it.... sounds like somebody replaced your hds motor with one out of an electric drill lol. have you actually been having any problems with the hard drive or is it just noisy?

Yeah, lol. It's weird, it happens just out of the blue sometimes, other it doesen't happen at all.

It's a maxtor 160gb hdd, and I have had no problems with it other than the fact that it can be a noisey bugger at times!

Damn man.....ya got gremlins. If it was me I would back up data and rma it before something blows apart. Which it sounds likes its doing.:>
