PS2 games dying out HELP

My ps2 games started dying out. all the ones that have problems are labeled would that be the problem and if it is how can I recopy or backup my backups. I have alcohol 120% and Nero 6 but when i try copying it says burning incomplete.

So, what you're saying is that games you have had working are now not working anymore? if so, did this happen directly after putting labels on them? I don't recommend putting labels on discs anyway.

What media were they recorded on?

we need much more info than what you gave us... but I think it's probably crappy media, the labels.. or both!!!

ok well they worked before when they didn't have any labels then when i put the labels on they worked for a while and began not to work anymore. most of these copies are burnt on verbatim 4.7 DVD-R's or Vakoss 4.7 DVD-R's. The labels are by CD STOMPER. Are there any problems or bugs or rumors going on for any of these medias or labels? and if u can provide me with some info about burners that will recopy these please tell me.

Use DVD Decrypter to copy them, use iso read mode to get an iso and mds file onto your hard disc... then use iso write mode and choose the mds file as your source file, to write the disc... burn at 4x on good 8x media like the verbatim you have..and don't put labels on the discs.

I've never heard of that other brand you mentioned.. stick with brands lile Taiyo yuden, verbatim, ritek etc and get 8x media DVD-R as they seem to work with most people's ps2's.
