How to run the second HD i installed

I just added a secondary HD. My prossesor was not working on my computer so i put the HD in another computer. It works fine but now how do i get the second HD to work? I want that to be my Primary.

what type of hard drive is it SATA or IDE.

When you say you want this drive to be your primary drive do you mean that there is already a copy of windows installed to it which you want to continue using?

I know it is a Maxtor 94098U8, but how do I find out what type of HD it is?

Yes there is a copy of Windows which i do want to continue using.

When my brother switched the jumpers this alert came up

i slapped that model number into google and your hard drive is IDE so its going to be very easy to install. if you want it to be the primary drive simply make sure that the jumpers are set to "master" (there should be some instructions on how to check this written on your hard drive) and that your other hard drive is set to "slave"

Unfortunately because your moving the hard drive from the computer it was set up on you wont be able to boot from it without reinstalling windows.
