Hi!
recently I bought a new harddrive Maxtor Diamondmax10 200GB (IDE) and when I installed it and viewed with Computer Managment->Disk Managment (as a 2nd harddrive)it shows the capasity of harddrive as 128GB. Why is that? is there a problem with harddrive or my computer? Please help

there have been a few threads about this lately but i cant be bothered to find them to direct you there. what you need is the big drive enabler to sort it out

Thanks a lot SypherTek it worked, although it still shows only 190GB but anyway and btw what is the difference between Basic and Dynamic and which one is better (in Disk Managment)

That's because disk manufacturers, and Windows' math are two different things. If you right click your drive in My Computer, go to Properties...you should see something like this:
