okay this isnt a problem its just a question but first a little explanation,
i had this new sony SDM-HS95 monitor for xmas and in the store where i got it from the display information said the it had a built in 250MHz processor which i thought was a little odd. i thought how the hell can a monitor have its own processor and if it did what the hell would it do. i bought the monitor regardless as it was only 199 and everywhere else i looked it was at least 280 - 300. anyway i have it at home now hooked up to my pc and ive noticed something very odd.
I have a visualisation prog for winamp called R4 which on my crappy graphics cards usually maxes out at 60fps but i was running it with my new monitor and now its maxing out at 75fps.
i still dont understand how but its got to be something to do with this 250MHz processor.
Can anybody shed any light on this matter as its confusing the hell out of me

System 1 :- Main PC: AMD XP 3200+ - OC Slightly 2.31Ghz, 1024 MB DDR PC2700, 1 x 40GB Hard Drive, 1 x 60GB Hard Drive, ATI 9600XT (256 MB)Graphics Card.

i dont know why it was so cheap might have been a mistake because even when i went to pay for it they were trying to charge me 280 but when i pointed out they were advertising it for 200 they dropped the price. i very much doubt youll be this lucky since theyv corrected the prices now. even so its a great monitor. easily worth the rest of the money i didnt pay for it :P
i got mine from STAPLES office store but ive seen them around in a few places
