I've just got a backed up copy of Magic Swap Disk 3.6 from a friend to see if it is worth purchasing. The problem is that whenever I insert a CD-R or a DVD+R my PS2 tells me to insert a valid PS2 disc. What am I doing wrong? Was is backed up incorrectly? If so, how would I properly burn it to DVD+R as well as Backing up games so they will work. I've also tried backing up one of my DVD movies to see if it would play and it also tells me to insert a valid PS2 disc. Seeing I have a dvd player that plays DVD-R's and CD-R's I'm not worried about them not playing, just my game backups using Swap Disk. Can you help, I'm blatently retarded trying to figure this out....

You must use an ORIGINAL copy of swap magic.

If you could use a burned copy of swap magic then it would eliminate the use of Swap Magic.

And this would be the reason for my question.... LOL thanks for the response. Can anyone tell me of a reliable source to purchase the swap disc and if 3.6 is the version to go with?

Here is a list of retailers at the official SM site: http://www.swapmagic3.com/Swap_Magic_Where_To_Buy.asp

As far as recommending a site, I can say that Ihackps2 is a very good site. Low prices and delivery is very quick. Here is their site: http://ihackps2.org/inventory/home.php
