i just got azureus and it doesnt seem to work. plz help me some 1!! its on a red smiley and hasnt changed for days plz can some 1 tell me a sollution to my problem i beg you all plzplzplz!! im sp2 and my internet is 512kbps plz help

Need more information in order to help u. Do u use a router, firewall(s), is it a healthy torrent, what ports have u forwarded?.

i dont have a router i have a modem (bt voyager 105) and when ever i do a nat/port test it says 'unable to test' i dont no why ive configured my norton firewall to alow Azureus and even tryed completetly turning norton off but it still wont connect. the smiley's are on red and have never changed. i have limewire and that works perfectly fine but Azureus doesn't for sme strange reason. plz help me i beg you ive tryed loads of things but it just wont go to green. plz help

I dont do anything to norton, and if u dont have a router all u need to do is forward them through ur firewall. ur on xp right?. look for my name in this thread:

Also, dont trust nat test in azureus, use shields up.

Another thing u could do is use utorrent, wich is much better in mop ;-D

thanks 4 helpn me out but i dnt have winxp fire wall i have norton 2005 and it doesnt have any thing of wat you said. plz can you help me to open a port on norton. plz. and wat is utorrent? wer can i download it from? but plz help me i beg u. my email is add me and you can tell me more ther if you want. i have quite a few issues with my computer. the computer is only a few months old. so plz help me

utorrent is is a different bittorrent client that I prefer over azureus. U can get it here: http://www.utorrent.com/ What is ur connection speed?.

Change your port number to anything 50.000+ and allow the port in nortons firewall you should be ok then :)

I've got norton2006 and I haven't done anything to it and I get gr8 speeds most of the time so don't do anything to norton just levae it the way it is.

azureus didn work for me so i downloaded utorrent. its been wotking great but how can i preview what ive downloaded? like its downloaded 14.5% and i wanna preview that 14.5%. how do i do that?
