Version 3.7 has certainly fixed a problem with Idependence Day Special Edition (both NTSC and PAL). The same problem exists with The Abyss Special Edition (PAL and NTSC) which I can only beleive is something to do with protection!

Have you tried AnyDVD with 21day free trial period? It's updated before you know you need it and it's, by far, the best!
