Could somebody please explain to me what this (DHT:) means?
I have this next to some of my torrents that are dl or trying to dl.
I am using Azureus. The latest version.

dht means distributed hash tables.... its like a backup tracker that shares peers between clients if the trackers goes down, so that the download will be able to proceed. Most private trackers hate this because it shares the peers amongst the clients and therefore you wont need to register on these private sites to download as you are supposed to. Bitcomet is banned on most private trackers because of this, trackers can be setup so that this is not allowed, bitcomet ignores this and still uses dht on private trackers, therefore its banned.

You shouldnt worry too much about this if you still are connected to a fair amount of seeds
