Sakura Taisen V backup help.

Alright, I backed up my legit copy of Sakura Taisen V (DVD9) onto a DVD5. I used isobuster to rebuild the game, but only the first layer. I burned it and it works perfectly. Then I used Apache 2 to extract the second layer. Before I burn the second layer, I just wanted to know, is it even necessary? I read Sonix God of War faq and it really wasn't much help because even when rebuilt, the game together still totals to about 6 gigs (There's no junk files in there or anything).
