swap magic 3.6 led to no video output

hi i recently bought swap magic 3.6 with a slide tool and tried to use with a copy of need fo speed most wanted i bought off ebay. the game failed to load up and the screen kept returning to the playstation browser screen. the next time i used the playstation the cd eject button wont work and there isnt any video output. but the fan starts up ok.

does anyone have any advice of what to do or know if this has happened before and whether its fixable or is the console done for?

any help would be much appreciated

You shouldnt buy copied games, it pirating and secondly how do you know if it was a real backup or just another fake. What exatly happened, are you sure you locked the disk tray back in properly after using the slide card, not that is should matter, but you never no.

well i tried to use the swap magic cds and slide tool but the game wouldnt load up, it just stayed on the swap magic main screeen. so i turned it off watched some tv then after i tried it again but this time there was no tv output and the cd tray wouldnt open.

Try looking if the white pin is back in place, if not, than pusdh it back

Its kind of funny how swap magic slide tool could have achieved the distruction of ur unit. You sure nothing else happened, normally if my pin isnt pushed back, before i turn it off it automatically pushses it back, coz the ps2 has the automatic disk tray close function when going into standby, unless if u turn the power off at the main switch before turning it into standby.
