I?am having trouble getting my computer working?
It does not let me open any applications and the
Taskbar does not appear in the bottom?
I?ve tried to reboot in safe mode but I does the same
thing.

Everytime I restart the computer I get three boxes
in the desk top saying the following:

Box 1
Infineon Security Platform Personal Secure Drive

The initialization of the PSD access failed-this may be because the TPM component on your PC is disabled, uninstalled or is not functioning correctly.

Box 2
Infineon Security Platform Status Indication Applet

Unknown Internal errer. (0.x800706ba)

Box 3
McAfee VirusScan

An error occurred while initializing Active shield. Your system might be running out of resources or disk space. Please close other applicationl and try restarting ActiveShield?

I Have P4 3.2 Ghz with 0.99 GB (ram) with a 80 GB HD?

I have used about 26.2GB in my HD?.

Can you guys please help me fix my computer?
I would appreciate a lot

Thanks.

you can reformat your hard drive and that will clean them out. choose full format, do it a couple of times to ensure that it is completely erased and then install windows.

hook the hd onto the secondary ide connector in place of the rom drives. both computers should have same windows as in xp to xp & not win98 to xp if xp is ntfs format. to do repair, have to boot off xp cd & will give you the repair option.

I had a worm like that once in my computer which caused all of my Anti-Virus programs to screw up. Norton couldnt update, would restart the comp after 10 minutes of scanning, and others just would freeze and never load. Luckily I knew what the worm was called and I downloaded a program that was specifically designed to remove it and that did the trick.

I would suggest getting more Anto-Virus software and running them all in Safe Mode. I know there was a thread her on AD about the best Spyware and stuff like that, so search for it and run them all in safe mode.
