I have been trying to copy ps2 games using both nero and alcohol 120
But they won't work for some reason. When I try to click the copy DVD button in Nero, if there's a disk in the drive the program automatically closes the window, once I take the disc I want to copy out, the copying window comes back.
In alcohol I can copy an image of the disc, but it always split's into 2 files, 1 which is the disc I want to copy which is for some reason changed automatically into a MDF format which no program will recognize, and a very small file (10 kb or less) that's in the correct MDS format which is openable. When I try to burn the image to a DVD-R it fails with a error report saying I/O system error.
Can someone please help me, is something wrong with my drivers or the drive itself? My friend copies PS2 games for me using Nero all the time and they work fine

In Alcohol 120% when you press the copy wizard the new window pops up go to where the tracks are and underneath it says "SEPARATE IMAGE FILE EVERY": theres a drop down menu select the "NEVER SEPARATE"

For Nero Make sure your have selected to make as a dvd and then just click copy disc
p.s what Nero are u using
