Hi all, 1st post this. I am new to this and i got on torrentleech about 5 days ago and downloaded a couple of large files, 6 gb in total, i got a warning saying that i had 3 days to up my ratio to 0.4 or i would be banned. I left the files i had downloaded to seed and put my upload speed to no limit on bitlord and watched the race against time, after 2 days and with my ratio getting to around 0.32 i tried to log on to torrentleech but it wouldn't let me,instead it logged on to a torrentleech homepage that gives info about Travel etc, my files are still being seeded on bitlord though. anyone know what the problem is?

yeah am getting the same homepage and i have been a member for about 8 month now. i dont know whats happening. sorry. i will keep my eyes open tho

same here,wish i new what was going on.i'm a vip on torrentleech,so it isn't anything to do with ratio's,maybe there trying to hide from the mpaa or something

yeah its nothing to do with ratio. just keep on seeding if its already doing it. get your ratio up

It looks to me like torrentleech forgot to renew their domain subscription does anybody have the same opinion as me???? hopefully it will be fixed soon as I have a great ratio 3.35 :) and always keep my uploads ready and available to everyone.

yes' looks like we are back on guys, my ratio is on 3.60 and i have 6 hours left, just hope i get it to 0.4 in time. To be honest i will leave it seeding all the time i just wasn't sure of the rules.

Well I only started on Torrentleech about 4 weeks now, however what I,ve done is downloaded a good porn movie of course it took about 3 days after needing to play by the rules and waited my turn, after the porn was down and it was a good one I left my system on and boom the uploads started, my ratio started climbing, when my ratio climbed a little better I downloaded another porn and I always keep my torrents being shared. my ratio now is 3.446 not bad and I also am awarded invites but their not for free nor do I sell them I keep an eye on the forums and decide who could honestly use one.

I am a power user on torrentleech and I cant log in, it says you do not have permission to veiw this page does anyone know what is going on, my ratio is fine on there

Man, it didn't take more than 2 days before I saw how ridiculious that site was. After it started acting up, I just left it. I could actually log in, it just didn't seem as great as everybody kept saying. More to the point, it had no desireable torrents, and the torrents it did have usually didn't work.

Well according to their irc chat room I have been banned for using multiple accounts I only have one and I have only ever opened one account with them, I am totally hacked off I asked them to give me the names of the other accounts and was told I need to talk to a mod, how?

Not sure whats what with IRC sorry, but is it not possible to open more than one account by double clicking when replying to the email message they send send you at the beginning?

zztone, it seems you have catch22. The only way i know of how to PM mods is obviously when you are signed in to TL which you cannot do now...

Whats wrong with TL? VERY fast torrents, all the new screen releases, all the new apps/warez...i agree they are TOO strict but if you play by the rules, then everyone wins.

It just seems too ridiculous to be able to download that fast, and then you have to wait for just about all the seeders to leave and then you have to wait for leechers to show up. It is TorrentLeech, but rarely see any "leeches." I'm just not patient enough to hope to upload it to at least 1:1 for two weeks.
That doesn't explain why most of the torrents I tried getting were more than likely had no tracker, and then trying to look for any other copy, it's the same situation (this is more for movies and music than apps and games I guess). I'm more into looking for old torrents, and this doesn't seem to be the right site for me.

They are adamant that I have opened three accounts (why I would want three is beyond me) and tell me the only way back in is to donate and become a vip, does this mean that I can have lots of accounts? or is it a scam to make people donate, either way I wouldn't donate on principle. I am a vip on many sites which I make donations to but the difference being I do so willingly to help with the costs.

I think the same thing.
You can't sort torrents. You can only browse by category, or use the search bar. They do have good sharing ratios because you'll get banned if you don't share.
mininova, http://www.mininova.org, is arguably the biggest torrent site on the internet, and it doesn't require a registration.

What sites are you a member of? I am new so dont have much knowledge. I have just made myself a member of torrentleech they exempt you from the autoban for 3 months after which you can donate again. if i downloaded a large file it took me longer than 3 days(the ban time after a warning) to get my ratio up, i am hoping that this will give me plenty time to get up a decent ratio.

When I was banned from torrentleech I was 14gbs up on my ratio and I was gobsmacked when they banned me, they still maintain that I had multiple accounts which I did not. regarding my other sites I am a member of, they are all private sites so I cant give you any info sorry.
