hey all
i just bought from play-asia.com, Naruto: Narutimate Hero 3. When this disc arrived, it had lots of scratches on it from something i couldnt understand. I hoped for the best and tried it, it didnt work. SO i called play-asia and emailed them, and finally, i got them to agree to send me a new disc, so i shipped this Naruto back.

I did get tired of waiting, so i did download the game off of a bittorrent site, but it has multiple files that are like "wjr-nnh3.r07"
how will i get these files to a dvd disc, and how will i burn it?

is what i did legal? after all, i did buy the game

no what you did is not legal but if you unzip the first file (ending in .001 in most cases or it appears in your case .r01) it will automatically unzip the other files to form a single ISO.

it's personal choice, Nero works and allot of people use it exclusively, i prefer to do my writing with DVD Decrypter and i have used Prassi Premo in the past with excellent results.

I would use a more updated version of DVD Decrypter for burning - ImgBurn, made by the creator of DVD Decrypter.

Use WinRAR for extracting those files, simply open one of them, and begin the extractation, and it will follow through all the volumes.
Then you should be left with an ISO file.

Use high quality media for burning the iso, Verbatim, Tuiyo Yuden, TDK, Maxell have a high reputation for quality, personally, I use Verbatim discs and burn at 1x, and have had no coasters.

Bearing in mind that your console must be fitted with some form of modification for booting up the game.

EDIT : Get ImgBurn here - http://fileforum.betanews.com/sendfile/1128426215/1/SetupImgBurn_...

hey all,
ive run into some problems
ive managed to unzip the iso and put it on the desktop, where i can see it. Ive tried to burn it using DVDdecrypter(old one) and Imgburn, and both have failed for some reason, it just pops out of nowhere. IM using fujifilm dvd's and Memorex, and trying to alternate

why is the burning failing?
am i doing anything wrong?

Use better media like suggested above.
(Verbatim and taiyo yuden are the best IMO)
update your firmware
Use the lastest version of DVDD for the burn.
(Also recommend burning at 4x or less and leave the computer alone
while burning).

ok ive tried it with Verbatim DVD+R's
and it still isnt working

i dont know what kind of burner i have, so i cant update the firmware for it. ive been using imgburn, pretty much DVD Decrypter by a different name , and it still isnt working
ive been burning at 1X speed, and this ISO is still giving me trouble. i cant understand it, its really getting on my nerves

"before the burning even starts, it says:
I/O Error!
Scsi Status: 0x02
Interpretation: check condition

CDB:2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00
Interpretation: Write(10)- Sectors: 0-31

Power Calibration Area Error"

those are the exact words it says
please help me get this error resolved

thank you

you don't know what burner you have?????

come on now, when you open imgburn and select the drive to burn to from the drop down menu, it tells you plain as day what burner you have.

EDIT:

just so you can see for yourself. i've got a DVR-110D with firmware 1.37
