can any one help me i have started to back up my ps2 games and they load but very slowly i have the swap magic software 3.6.i have got decrypter and 120% some load really fast but most hang between loading
Yep, it's most likely the media you are using... get some taiyo yuden or verbatims.. they're considered the "best" media you can get... also most people use DVD-R and not DVD+R to burn their games. Try some of those and let us know how you get on.. burn at half the max speed of the DISC if your burner supports that speed.
Also, might make a difference, what game is it you're trying to backup?
I haven't got that game so can't advise if it needs a rebuild or not.. do a search for it on this ps2 dvd backup forum and see if anyone's mentioned whether it needs a rebuild or not..
If it doesn't need a rebuild, just get soem of the media I mentioned to you before and burn it again at 4x on 8x capable discs.
