Burning MP3's on a DVD+R disc.

I tried to burn MP3's on a DVD disc, but none of my dvd players could read it. They work fine with movies, but not MP3's. Does anyone have a theory on what I'm doing wrong?

My DVD players can read MP3's. I've burn CD-R's with no problem. I assume I can get a hell of a lot more MP3's on a DVD, right?

Only if the players read the mp3 data format on the DVDs. I have two DVD players that will and two that won't. Check your DVD player's manual for compatability.

IT will depend some on the compression, around 900 to 1,000.
