I'm new at burning stuff (movies and other stuff). I just want to know what are the best media use. I mean good quality movies and stuff!

Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim~ :) Maxell's 8x MIJ (made in japan) are made by Hitachi, that is another good quality media~ :)

yeah, Maxell and Verbatim are A grade. also look for Made in Japan. avoid Made in Taiwan ones. And of course, Taiyo Yuden is king.

sony is good stuff the DVD+R 8x speed "made in japan" will code out as Taiyo Yuden so look for them
