Hi everyone, I know many threads are open dicussing about the software, and I used pretty much all of them. But I want to know experiences of people about the software in terms of quality (DVD-9 to DVD-5) I currently use Anydvd and CloneDVD2, but i heard that DVD Rebuilder & CCE Basic would do much better, is it true? Thx for the info...

I am satisfied with the quality that I get from CloneDVD2 as well as from Decrypter and shrink. I notice no perceptible (to my eyes) difference between the two. I can't speak to rebuilder or CCE as I have never used them.

I use DVDRB/CCE for compression levels with values lower than 75 - 80%... It is unrivaled!!! I can't discern the difference at 90 - 100% with my transcoder (Recode2) and the original. The proving point is that my backups with compression levels below 60% with RB/CCE look as good as the originals as well...

Quality is all in the eye of the beholder. IMHO, the quality of most DVD copys far exceed the quality of most movies( acting, story, special effects, etc.)

Dvd rebuilder paired with cinema craft encoder (what I use), HC encoder by Hanks, or ProCoder will provide the best video quality hands down especially on high compression applications.
