Hello everyone,

In advance, I appreciate not only your time to read this, but any advice you may provide as well.

Game at hand: Karaoke Revolution Party.

Situation 1:
- Created image of game.
- Burned image back to blank DVD.
- Booted Slimline PS2 with SM 3.6
- Game gets to "loading" screen, and does nothing by play the music.

Siutation 2:
- Using the initial image created of the game...
- Rebuilt it using CD/DVD Gen, and IML2ISO.
- Burned final image of the game.
- SM states "not a valid PS2 disc."
- Pressed the "special boot", and same result.

This game has a very small initial image file. I only rebuilt it considering the create-and-burn-back image didn't work. Is there some trick I'm missing?

Okay,


I figured it out. I've already read that "media matters." I was using an off-brand version from Office Max (-R type). They've been great for the other games I copied.
I slipped in, just out of curiousity, one of my Light Scribe HP +R discs, and the game fired up like a charm, smooth, and even did some karaoke with it - hahaha.
I'm a believe now - media does matter.
