SWAP MAGIC 3.6 Question

Hi all

My first post on the forum!

When trying to load a backup game using swap magic the game loads up and works with sound but the picture is in black and white....

Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

Could it be due to my ps2 being fairly old or the format of the game?

don't worry, ur game is probably NTSC. try doing speacial boot. even if that doesn't work, use the NTSC video mode .

37. Q. I downloaded a PAL game, how do I convert it to NTSC?
A. Use Adrenaline patcher if it's an EA game: http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_utils_files.shtml#ADRenalin%20Patcher Note: I've been told this works for non EA games as well. The screen won't be perfectly centered, unless you have a modchip that forces video mode.

I have tried in Special boot up mode with no joy..

Can you please tell me how to boot in NTSC video mode?

If you're using swap magic 3.3 or 3.6, when the disc loads you swap the discs as usual, then you can see where it says video mode on the screen, scroll down to that so that it's highlighted and change it to NTSC.. then go back so the load program is highlighted and boot as usual.

If it doesn't work, then try a different video mode setting... and if it still doesn't work then you'll need to patch the video.
