Looking to get a network for 6 machines at home. Thisill be primarily for the internet and games (Call of Duty 2, Battlefield 2, UT04, Nasscar...etc.). What would you guys recoomend. I live in a house where 3 of the machines would be in the basement, and then there's the main floor, and then the other 3 would be on the top floor. I am not trying to break the bank, so let's do something nice. LOL

I'm calling all the experts, give me a hand here please.

Pre-N is a must if you want the maximum distance and speed available and are now available by several makers. I have the Belkin Pre-N and am extremely happy with it. That is where you will need to start.

OK. HAHAHAHAHHAA These are not laptops they are all desktops. Speasking of which, I see that there are some networks at 54mbps, and some at 108. Is there truly a difference as far as speed or bottleneck wise when it come to games.... Or am I thinking about this wrong with those #'s
