someone told me there is a new virus going around and microsoft is coming out with a patch can anyone tell me the name of the virus and is the patch available yet????/

hello there,
yes there is a fix for that specific prob, in fact there are multiple.
but i know for sure that the fix is available in hitmanpro
you can download it and select the fix you want to applie, and run hitman

hey if you mean the WMF patch its on the microsoft updates site (just been added like 20 mins ago) i sighned up for microsoft allerts when new securty updates are availible i am informed(you should sighn up too).
its availible for download so get it.
that should be the new virus you mean.

well its that thing that exploits the graphics enigine you may of heard of, you should update as soon as possible.
and i cant remember how i signed up, from the site somewhere.

yeh youll be protected from that but i dont know if thats the one you meant, its "the" new virus though and will cause problems , that fix is handy and everyone should update.
