I bought a data sync cable for my ipod so i could download songs on to my ipod. When i plug the cable up on yesterday it recognized the usb cable and then i downloaded a update software on my ipod and the today i went to plug the cable back in today to download some songs from my laptop and my laptop did not recognize the cable. I need some help with why it didn/t and what i can do to make it work again.

why did you buy another cable? did the one that came with your ipod break?

my brother gave it to me and he didn;t give me another data sync cable
