Hi
I am new to all this. I have downloaded BitComet, do I need any other software for downloading with this? I downloaded a movie (Dukes of Hazzard) and then went to Nero Express to burn it to a disk, I can get the dukes of hazzard yellow folder up, but when I click on it it has no files in it. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you donwloaded a DVD-R (full movie, usually about 4.36 GB) or have you downloaded the .avi (full movie, usually about 700mb-1.36gb)? Have you extracted the movie yet using Winrar?

I downloaded the 700mb one, do I have to do something else now? Sorry to sound so dumb

1. Ok, first extract the .AVI with WinRAR. to do this download WinRAR, install and then right click on the first .rar in the folder and press "extract here"
2. Download VSO DivXtoDVD (freeware version) and install and run.
3. Input the .AVI you just got and then select NTSC and then press convert.
4. When that is done, you will have a folder which you can burn with Nero Burning Rom.

Hi Again and thanks for your help. But I do have cucusoft that converts files, also my Nero 7 premium also will convert a file that is AVI to VCD etc etc. I am just in the section where my Dukes of hazzard movie is downloaded to and I have approx 48 files with files names THE.DUKES.OF.HAZZARD.DVDRIP.XviD.dARK.part48.rar so have I downloaded the wrong file?

Nope, follow step 1 and extract the movie using WinRAR.

Hello and thanks again. I think I am getting there. Anyhow WinRAR is not compatable with my computer as unfortnately I have Windows ME. Do you know of a program that is suitable for windows ME. I do have a program named cucusoft (AVI to VCD DVD) will that do the same thing?
