I have a 20 gig and want to replace it with an 80 gig.
What is the best way to transfer or copy the entire 20
gig to the 80?

Install the 80GB. Copy the info you require to it.
Is this a trick question? LoL :^)
Lemme guess: you want your Windows on the 80GB - you must do a fresh Windows install.
Then, when the 80GB is in place, you could hookup the 20GB either as slave or secondary master, and copy anything important off it.

I would purchase or borrow a Norton Ghost program or Drive Image 7.01 and just copy exactly what you have on your 20 to your 80, set your 80 as master and the 20 as slave, and when you boot up, you will not know the difference. Delete everything on the 20 after that and you are good to go! :)

By the way, this will take maybe 15 minutes to transfer since you only have a 20 gig to start with. The ghost program is also a great way to make exact copies weekly or even daily which is what I do at 2:00 am automatically, while Windows is running, but to transfer one HDD to the other requires the CD boot option.
