Ive noticed a few posts asking for private torrent sites and so thought i'd post the one im currently a member of. www.torrentlounge.com is a good community with some good friendly people in it and registration is absolutely free although
As it currently nearly has 80,000 members sometimes the site does hit alot of traffic and you find you cant get on so if your having problems then thats why guys.

Guy is just advertising he's site. This site havent even seen a "private tracker"
And posting about how you get "sum 1337 accesses" if you pay the price..
Stay away sites like this, there is many legit sites with way better administration and tracker software..

hia you were talking about www.torrentlounge.com which i have been a vip member also paid for the life time member ship but for the last week and a half there has been no site there does any one know if the site has gone or crashed gratefull in any one has info

Hey Kennyhep, I got ripped off too. Iwas a vip with a lifetime membership and I have emailed the 2 email addys I have for them and one is kicked back with box is full and the other I get no reply to so I think we got ripped off!! If it was a crash they could have notified us by now...
anyone know of a good torrent site that has rapidshare links???

Thats piracy ;(, unless if your downloading non-copyprotected films, cant say i can name any.

Guys im really sorry to those who joined because of this post but STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!!!
I became friends with one of the TL moderators and found out the owner of TL (filepimp) actually sells your email address to companies for money, ive never been back since and when i was demoted to normal member from VIP member i started getting alot of spam emails, not from TL but random companies.
Once again my apoligies.. i had no idea until it was too late.. STAY AWAY!!!

Then how come after ive downloaded pirate copies of unreleased films and i know the product is worth the money, once its released ill go and buy the dvd.. if its crap i havent lost out, hence piracy paid off cus otherwise id've waitied till it hit normal tv and they wouldnt of had any money off me whatsoever.

Your emails are going straight into the spam harvester and will be sold on CD to anyone who wishes to use theese sleezy methods to advertise there stuff...
Thousands of emails are put onto disk and sold for about £10, tough luck.

You are wrong, in my opinion.
Piracy does not pay the people who made the film.
They put so much effort into making it, they sell it, and people are supposed to BUY it or PAY to go and watch it, piracy denies the rights of the makers to make a profit from their hard work.
Piracy is a crime, and should remain a crime as all people have the right to profit from their work.
If you made a hit film, you could make lots of money from it, but you would make less if some idiot guy went and sat at the back of a cinema with a camcorder taping the damn film and then selling it on the streets, and you would make even less money if some guy buys the pirated film and uploads it onto the internet for people to download.
The film industry, because of piracy, have to spend more money trying to protect the damn film then making it, and it is because of people like you.
Want to know if a film is good, read reviews, get opinions, or blow some money on cinema tickets, yes those things do exist!, even in your world.
Think about this: Hollywood makes a film, its great a smashing hit, but everyone even the critics, fanboys, writers, journalists all decide to go pirate, then what will happen?
**hint**bankrupt, low on cash, no more films, waste of money cant produce more films.**hint**
do you get it now?
Oh wait theres more!
You know all that money you and people like you spend on pirated goods?
Do you know how that money gets used?
It goes towards financing crime.
Have you ever wondered why DVD's, videos, cinema tickets are so expensive?
ANSWER The makers want to make a profit, and as long as piracy exists, the makers know it will be harder to make that profit or to get the money back, so they need to rely on the people who will go and watch it, and so they charge more, which is unfair on the honest hard working people, who don't do piracy.
