PLEASE HELP my pc dvd burner will not read some ps2 dvd rom games

hi, can someone please help me and tell me why my dvd burner will read some sp2 games and not others. I have been using isobuster and dvd decrypter. I can use these programs to pick up a few games but the games that dont work the computer tells me that the ps2 dvd rom disc is blank. I no the disc is not blank because its a game can someone please tell me what to do or what i needfor my dvd burner to pick up theps2 dvd rom games. THANKES HEAPS

Are you trying to rip the games to your Hard Drive? Are they original games or copies?

they are original ps2 dvd rom games my dvd rom drive just won't open some games tells me that the original ps2 game disc is blank. there for it's telling me there is no disc in the drive so dvd decrypter and isobuster can not do there job.and yes im trying to put them to my hard drive plenty of room on hard drive.

Okay. Don't open DVD Decrypter until after windows has detected the games. After windows explorer opens up showing you the game files, then open DVD Decrypter and try ripping them. Does your DVD drive work okay with movies and other discs?

copies movies and some sony games great i do all the things your told me already. it just won't read some ps2 disk it tells me the ps2 game disc is blank. the games that dont work do they have something on them that won't let me rip them . you just hear the laser trying to read the disc and this goes on for about 5 min and then comes up blank disc.is there something that i can use to make it read all ps2 disc or tell the drive that the game is there. thanks

You have got dvd decrypter in iso read mode haven't you?

Also, I found that sometimes on winxp especially that the autorun/autoplay feature interferes sometimes... in a windows explorer window go into tools menu, folder options... then the "file types" tab. scroll down the list of file types until you get to iso file type.. and see what it says to open with, and change that if you want, I have mine set to dvd decrypter... it might help.

yes its in read mode, it's like im putting a blank disk in the drive and there is nothing on it. can your drive read every ps2 dvd rom game. im trying to get the drive to open tiger woods 2005 won't open it same as v8 supercars 2. i've ripped ea sports games and others tiger woods is a ea sport game and it won't open or even identerfiy this and other games

I haven't found a game that I can't read yet... I've found one that wouldn't decrypt, but had no scratches etc "godzilla save the earth"... but I don't go in for sports games much, apart from Formula 1 and a few other racing games and maybe football(soccer to you USA people)

Try another game with DVD Decrypter to see if that still works.. maybe you're having a software conflict or something.

Are you using NTFS or FAT32? Go to My computer, right click your C drive (or whatever drive contains your hard disk), and click properites. For file system check to see if it says NTFS or FAT32.

Don't know if it'll make much difference either way, but what I/O interface are you using with DVD Decrypter?

Have you installed any software lately that could be conflicting with DVD Decrypter?
