Hello,

I have a problem. I perfectly understand and use ISO image to create DVD's and play them in my PS2.

BUT, now i unrippedPrince of Persia Two thrones and I have these files and folders :

VIDEOS
DATA
ME
MODULES
slus
soundps2
system

(CAPS LOCK are folders)

I don't know how to burn it on DVD. I tried with the simple method and i just burned it, but it's not working. There must be a way. Can somebody explain.

I think that you've had a downloaded game that you just unrarred too much... have another look in the folder where you put the rar files for one big file, say 2-4.5 GB's.. that'll be the iso file you need to burn.
There's not many ps2 downloads that'd give you a bunch of files, cos they're useless unless you get the file order of someone else that's got the game. If you ever get these files.. then go back a step and burn the big file you had, even if it shows as a rar file (it's not)

I downloaded rar files and then i use the usual method (right click and unrar to one directory). I expected one big ISO file (as always), but I got these folders and few files.

Oh ok, sorry about that.. that's the usual thing that's wrong when people get the files and folders instead of the iso.

Can't help you with the folder list unfortunately as I don't have that game yet.

[edit] the slus file indicates that it's an NTSC game too, you might already know this but you could have problems playing that game when you do get it to disc (i'm assuming you're not from the US as it'll only be around 7am there at the most :)

Is it one big .Rar you downloaded or multiple .Rar?. Perhaps it's a .ISO or someother image format that has been re-named to .Rar.

Try loading the .Rar file in your burning software (*.* view when loading the image) and burning it.

Otherwise you're going to have to burn the

VIDEOS
DATA
ME
MODULES
slus
soundps2
system

files and folders on a DVD/CD with the correct burn-type settings for PS2 backups. I would try Alcohol 120%.

I have 20 or so RAR files which i cannot merge into one ISO file. I have the sam problem with Tiger woods 2006. How can I do it with Alcohol. I downloaded alcohol, but it doesn't have anything for PS2

You'll have to get the filelist from someone that has the original, and then rebuild the game into an iso using cd/dvd generator.. there's a big sticky on patching rebuilding games at the top of the forum if you don't know how to do it.
