Recently d/l this from newsgroups (Dynasty_Warriors_5_Xtreme_Legends_USA_PS2DVD-STRiKE)
Weighed in at just over 4gb so had already been rebuilt.

Burnt this to Panasonic DVD-R (TYG02) using my Lite-On 811s (HS0R Firmware) at x2.4 using ImgBurn, burnt fine, great!

Using swap disc 3.6 I loaded the game up, and my god.. sound glitches, graphics glitches and crashes galore..

Now im wondering if its
a) my PS2 (SCPH 30003)
b) the dvd's
c) my writer
d) something else?


To be honest I've not had much luck using these DVD's think ive thrown about 5 coasters away out of 10 burns, they dont seem to like my PS2 much really, had more luck using cheap shitty unbranded ones :P

Any help resolving my problem would be greatly appreciated!

Maby is a media problem, use goos media such a Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or Maxell.

They are Taiyo Yuden dye (TY02), shouldnt be any different to an actual TY disc
