hi,i've used bitlord, bitcomet and utorrent and i found the download speeds in the clients fastest in this order: 1.Bitcomet 2.Bitlord 3.utorrent. I find utorrent very slow in downloading and i've used a very big guide and still no change. I was wandering if there's a faster client than bitcomet. I've heard about azureus but people say it's a resource hog and i don't want that because i've got an old comp. Can someone help me? Thanks.

Its not just the client itself that gives u good speeds, its how u set them up. Putting the correct information in ur Bt clients settings makes a huge difference in speeds, no matter what client ur using. Its all about getting the right setup for ur connection and client ;-D

edit: If ur on a old pc then ”Torrent is made for u, I'm on a great pc and I still chose it over many others ;-D

No sig for u!.

Yeah I have just started to use utorrent and I have to say that it is very good, Azureus takes up to much cpu but utorrent does not take up that much.

BitComet works best for me. Its all about maintaining your half open connections 50 per task ,the best listen port 49152 ,the maximum connections allowed per task 100 and finding the sweet spot between your download speed and your upload speed .My upload is set at 80 kbs .If your behind a router its important to get all of your port forwarding correct. My ports are between 6881-6889
You can even download a good xml file to do the preferences for you.But the port forwarding must be done yourself .You'll know you have got it right when your connections show both remote and local
