Try diferent media, and DVD-r's, or maybe youre version of Swap Magic.. i dnt know.. might be to old to get the game.. Be chure that the games you are talking about dont have a special procedure to be backed up.

Most games require patching with the older versions of swapmagic.
http://www.swapmagicfix.com Save youself the trouble and get the new sm 3.3 or higher,
It will save you a lot of time patching/rebuilding.
Also use better media.
I use verbatim(mcc) and/or fujifilm (Yuden)

Possunt Quia Posse Videntur.

Yes, provided you use it with a fliptop, or a slide tool.

2 things that are most likely your problem. As everyone looks like they have said already, but lets emphasize the point shall we.
1. cheap HP brand DVD's
2. That very old, outdated, crappy version of Swap Magic 2.0
Just get better quality media, and get the newer version of Swap Magic 3.0 or 3.6
It will save you a lot of rebuilding, and no more need for DVD Loader
Two ways you can do this is either buying a new set, or finding them on the net. If you choose the cheaper way of finding them for free on the net for download, then also know that you will have an extra swap involved. You will have to put in 2.0, then swap for the newer version, then swap for your back up.

I had a similar problem with the kids fliptop PS2 i could not get Harry Potter goblet of fire, True Crime New York City, King Kong to play with the swap magic 2. Swap magic 2 can play a hell of a lot of the back up games i have done but just lately it seems it is having trouble playing newer back up games. I brought the swap magic 3.6 and all the games that did not work now plays without any problems. You can get swap magic 3.6 from this web site http://gamesyouwant.org.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=228&... for £16 and it only took a few days.

To check the version of your system software, select "System Settings" (under the briefcase sign) from the home menu, and then select "System Information". You will find what version you have

And not hijacking someone else's thread either please... there's too much of that going on, if you have a question then create a new thread. Unless of course it's already been answered and could be found by using the search function.
