Hi

I have a problem with my PC.

Specs

500Watt PSU

AMD XP 2000+ Thoroughbred (unlocked)

ASUS A7V8X-X Motherboard

1GB dual channel memory

Maxtor HD 80Gb And 60Gb HD

Radeon 9600xt 256mb

...

First... I was listening to music on my Pc when it all of a sudden it froze. nothing was accessable. tried crl+Alt and Del, but didn't work so I restarted the computer. Soon as i restarted the monitor went onto standby with the yellowey orange light instead of green, with no visual on screen. It does this every time i switch on my PC and stays like it, and i cannot use my computer anymore :(

Any help would be nice.


PS. I have tested the RAM and Graphics card on my mates PC and works fine. :/

test out your processor if you can. it may be dead. if it isnt then your mobo probably is dead

Well the PC does switch on but no visual on screen. thought it could be the mobo. will test on another machine.
