Hi, I have been using this site to get my music from. When i buy and save the songs from AllofMP3, they get saved straight to i-tunes. Now when i connect my ipod they upload to the ipod no problem, but in my library on i-tunes, the songs i have downloaded from AllofMP3 have an exclamation mark at the side of them and when i click on them it says 'the song... could not be used because the original file could not be found'. Does this mean the songs are not on my PC and i should be saving them to My Music instead of straight into i-tunes? Also what is the best way to back up my music, as i have not done this yet. I am new to PC's and Ipods.

Please help

After the songs were in itunes you must have moved the folder that the songs were in, or moved the songs to another folder. Either move the songs back to where they were when you imported them into itunes, or delete them and re-import them. Even if you changed the name of the folder they were in, then itunes won't be able to find them.

Hi, I have not moved the folder that the music goes into. From AllofMP3 the music goes straight into i-tunes, i dont get the option to Save Target As. When i click on the song, it says it cant find it, and do i want to locate it. I click on Yes, then a temp folder comes up with loads of files in, all differently numbered, but i have no idea which are my music files.

Your files are saved somewhere on your computer because Itunes isn't a folder it is just a program that displays all the songs from anywhere on your computer. Go to the start menu~then search~and type in the name of one of the songs that has an exclamation point next to it, and see if it finds it. If it finds it then wherever it is, is probably where the rest of the songs are too. If it doesn't find it, then the only thing i can think of would be that they got deleted.
