Ok i just reformated my pc with a new xp disc now when i start my pc up it ask me to pick a os
windows xp home
windows xp home(bootscreen)
windows xp home
it will auto pick the first one in 30 seconds but it use not come on so i know there has to be a way to remove it anybody know?

Most likly no. If I heard you right your still in the BIOS screen, and to get rid of that boot screen in the BIOS it will take a degree in programming to not have it there anymore. Or its not in the BIOS and thats the way the computer some how lets you update it if you install a new driver.

Control Panel/System then click on the Advanced Tab. Go to the Startup and Recovery section and click on Settings.
In there is a place to Edit the startup file manually. Make sure you know which one you are using and delete the others.
Warning, if you don't do this right you can make it where you can't boot. Doing that edits the boot.ini file that is in the root of your C: drive, you may have to turn on show hidden files to see boot.ini.

A safer option might be to just make the screen not stay on as long. Make the Time to Display Operating Systems 5 seconds instead of the default 30.

i just unchecked the box how long to keep screen up and it went away
