i was wondering how to change my background to a wallpaper or at least a different color. In 2.0, I believe it was in settings, but I can't find it now. I am at 1.5 now.

Also, I tried the fired up browser, and it pretty much sucks. Any others that may be better that I can try? I know there was a wipeout one, but is that pretty much the same thing? The 2.0 one wasn't horrible, and I was finally getting used to it, but it must have been deleted when I downgraded. At least you could change the text size and auto size the width if you wanted. Any help? Thanks

You can use the MPH Firmware launcher to launch the 2.00 firmware and use its browser. You can find the MPH Firmware Launcher here: http://mphwebsite.tuxfamily.org/index.php?program=15
You can download the firmware 2.00 EBOOT (required by firmware launcher) here:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/5 (US)
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/6 (JP)

There is a guide on how to change the background of your PSP here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/pspersonalize-howto.php
(But it writes to flash, so make sure you have sufficient battery life and your AC adapter is plugged in when you are using it).

Alright, I got the MPH Launcher and the 2.0 eboot. Where do I place the 2.0 eboot? in the root of the MS or in a certain folder? There was no instructions included with the 2.0 eboot. I will see if I can get the MPH launcher to work for now until I figure out where the other file goes. Thanks

You can put the EBOOT wherever you want, but it is easier to put it in the root of the memory stick. Then all you do is go to the "Install a firmware" feature in MPH Fimware Launcher. Choose the "Automatic with an EBOOT" function, then specify the location of the EBOOT and choose an output folder. Make sure "COpy Flash 1 folder" is set to yes.

After the firmware has installed you can launch it.

Hey y'all
New to the forum..
Have a question tho...i've been reading 2.71 isn't downgradeable..i've been aching to play Crash Tag Team racing ...so i downloaded it...My psp is 2.71 after i updated with Tekken Dark resurrection...now i was wondering if the downloaded CTTR will be able to play from a memory stick..since it came out some time after Tekken D.R ( which forced me te upgrade to fw 2.71)

Thnx in advance,

No code is good! You don't want any codes on the top right. Make sure this none thought!

Aah ok ok..
So..double checked it...no code...(strange huh?...u would expect the newer versions to be shipped out with as much hack-protection as possible...)...so i can now just copy the Crash Tag team racing to the memory stick?..

NO hold the phone.

You have to downgrade your psp. Look in the stickies at the top, I know one has a guide for downgrading a 2.71.

Or if you would rather not downgrade, you can play isos through hen.
