and i got it back. its in a sealed envelope with that non static stuff. im assuming they didnt repair it just gave me a new one. what did they do to it?

Unless a packing list that was shipped with it, included the repairs...

only they will know....

The only way you could truly tell if it was your drive to begin with, is if you wrote down it's serial number.
