I read the threads for newbies but I still have a question. Tokijin said that I needed a modchip, Swap Magic, Memory Card Exploit, and HD Loader. But the modchip that I'm getting (Matrix Infinity) says it'll boot anything automaticly. Do I still need Swap Magic even with that? I thought Swap Magic was just for slide cards and flip tops.

If I do need HD Loader, that's fine because I've already got it. I've been playing games off my HDD with that.

no you dont need swap magic if your getting a modchip. yes it is only for slide cards and flip tops, and the tape and/or tissue/tape mod

But, buddy you should be carefull with those mod chips, be chure you find a reliable person to install it, dnt try to install it yourself if you dnt know how to do it well, because consecuences will be terrible. (by this I mean that youre PS2 could broke) so be chure its a expert the one who install it. (I still recomend Swap Discs)

Oh, don't worry. I'm definitely not going to to try to install it on my own. I'm sending it to www.TeamModders.com.

A question about that, though, it asks about HDD Connect. Wants to know 'Yes' or 'No'. What are they asking? If I have a HDD? I do but I'm gonna take it out before I mail it to them.
