will a better quality adsl modem help my internet speed and make my connection more reliable and stable? i currently have a dynalink rta 100 adsl modem and i was wondering if there is much difference in quality between modems?

to be fair you should get the same speed no matter what the modem. if your experiencing reduced connection speeds then get in touch with you ISP

Most modems have firmware updates as well. Check with your manufacturer and see if there is one available for your model. I would also suggest speed test links to compare what your provider suggests as typical speeds and what you are receiving. Hardware issues as well as equipment and setups by your ISP provider can cause slow downs. Here are two based in the US.
