I have made a backup of a backup. Ripped with DVD Decryptor and burned with Nero.

I always get a VOB cycle error. the cd works great then for some reason my dvd burner goes crazy and i can't even take the cd out of my computer. When i push the eject button the green light turns red beside the eject button. Then i have to restart my computer. I have the new aspi drivers for the burner. I have no idea what's going on.

Could be a number of things... The three most prominent are (1) the quality of media you burned the original backup on, (2) the speed at which you burned the original backup, and (3) the dreaded adhesive label on the original backup.

I burn <1> Taiyo Yuden (8X rated) and Verbatim (8 and 16X rated) <2> at 8X <3> on inkjet printable discs... No problems!!!

i agree the first time i backed up the movie was on crappy quality disks. a pack of 50 dvds for 16.99$ cnd. I would have to verify the speed at which i'm burning at. thanks alot i will give that a try and let you all know.
