U cant do PS2 games with shrink. U read them with DVD Decrypter, then Rebiuld them with IsoBuster, then Burn with Nero. For a ton more info, go in the ps2 backing up dvds section.
Yoyo. I'm new to PS2 backing up etc

Is there anyway to get around not using swapdisc or getting a chip. If not where can I get swapdisc and how does it work?

No, there is no way. Well the guys over at the correct forum will have more knowledge about that stuff. But swap disc is pretty simple, cheaper anyways. First you put the disc in then it will ask you for the burned disc. Pull out tray and put burned disc in.

Man I'm thinking about getting that Crystal Chip and having someone install it or let me and my father do it. Because lately my Swap Magic DVD Boot disc has been getting on my nerves. These things are so easy to get scratched up. I even broguht a couple of D-Skins.

FYI, this is the wrong forum. Try to ask your question at relevant PS2 forum. Again, FYI, DVD Shrink CAN NOT shrink PS2 games. Any true gamer should have known this by now.
I'm gonna hollar at my buddy creaky.

Look at where to buy, then it will list the retaillers. IMO Swap Magic is best, but if you like sound of a modchip - www.modchip.com
You will need this to play backups!
Depending on the game, if it is oversized (over 3.4gb) then you will have to "Re-build" the game. And you can learn how to do this, by going here --> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197948
Any problems, just report back.

Yes, only old versions which are difficult to find, and guess what you'll need.. yes, either a fliptop or slide tool. So you might as well buy the set..
