Firs of all, what method of burning games are you using, if you are using DVD Decrypter, when you decrypt the game, two files are extracted, the MDS and the ISO, I think that if you are a Swap Magic user, you need to choose the MDS for burning, cause the ISO wont work. By the way, use good media (Maxell, Verbatim, Tayo Yuden)
Second, It is not correct that you talk about copying games (In this lands you get banned if you talked like that, believe me buddy, manny people just rent them and all us know that but just say you are backing up games, not copying them, cause youl get into truble).
And downloads are too slow!
Sooooooooo, ...(bter rnt them).... lol

lol sorry i had a brain cramp. shoulda of used politically correct terms hehe.. but yeah my d/l speed isnt slow its just that the Games didnt work when i burnt em. i must of did somthing wrong or the media is just crap. i used Alcohol 120% i just went to image burning and loaded the file and popped in my crap no name brand cd and burned it at 2.4x (cause i couldnt get it to go any lower)i followed the swap method and it said invalid ps2 disc. so should i just back up games instead? do people generally get better results backing up then "stealing them from the internet"??

If the ISO you download is correct and complete is the same as backing up a game. Try the DVD Decrypter method. And dude im not telling you is better backing up games, hell no, rent them, but in this forums just said thet you are backing up them, its bter..

yeah, i will get DVD Decrypter because i recall now that i had already burnt the game for my buddy and it barely loaded up(i think caUSE OF THE CRAPPY CD) but he used it with a mod chip and it would work. but it didnt work on mine with swap magic. i will try and re-burn it right now with DVD Decrypter and get back to you.

Keep in mind that some of d/l games needs to rebuild and or sometimes it needs to put in the right order to burn, so it'll work properly. Another thing to look for is the media, make sure you use high quality media (ie Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim "advanced azo/datalife plus" and Maxell (mij by Hitachi).

Here's a very useful guide/link, especially for downloaded files. Go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/248020 and check it out.
Seems like your problem is the media, so keep that in mind to always use high quality media. Another important part is make sure your burner's firmware is up-to-date with the most current firmware available.

i know how to extract the iso thats not the problem man. the problem is that when i burnt it it said invalid so i am gunna buy a 5 pack of good DVDs and see what results i get. this is getting real complicated i thought burning games for swap magic was easy. hopefully the better media will do the trick.

Make chure you are using the DVD version of swap magic, and try to rebuild it. Try to rent or burry some real games and burn them, so you can see if its the ISO you download or if it happens woth all the games.
