I'm not sure why you'd want an alarm but now I'm paranoid mine will go off at an inappropriate time. In the extra settings I don't have a "new clock" set. Therefore, it would make sense that alarm hasn't and can't be set until I do so? I know you can set it as a song, but does the alarm use the internal speakers so you wouldn't necessarily have to have headphones in? And if it's on hold and turned off would an alarm still go off?
Thanks.

if there is no 'bell' icon next to your clock, then no alarm has been set & therefore it will not bother you :-)
