If you have some type of mod, download the NTSC version after its release.

I've been following Rogue Galaxy since it was released. Ive got the JAP version, and its fantastic. Though i don't understand what theyre saying. Ive got to a part where u can use a frog to make better weapons lol. Only Level 5 would have an idea like that. Also for those worried about Grandia III coming to the UK, it probably will, i mean the last two have. Before playing Dragon Quest VIII, only the Grandia games gave me that sense of... "adventure" when playing them. Grandia manages to mix a complex and serious plot, with elements of fun and humor that last throughout the whole adventure. And i love the save points.

Just to mention, i posted a huge list of games to look forward to in this year, a few pages back. If u wanna take a look, there might e some games you don't know about that may appeal to you. Similarly, if theres one ive missed out taht u feel should be on there, please feel free to notify me. I intend to download/buy most/all of them anyway. Theres only a few i would waste my precious money on though, lol.

Ive download quite a few jap games too. Won't play them, don't want any spoilers (may i just stress again that this should be a spoiler free board, and that goes for everybody.)

Anyway, thats my peice said. Have fun with your games, guys and girls.

Actually, as long as people listen to what i say and respect my word, then i'll do the vice versa. I'll use my extensive knowledge base (lol) to help people with their questions. Just cause someones sent over 1000 posts, they may still have less knowledge than a Newbie. Thats just the way it works.

Hmm i rate the game pretty highly too mate, its one of those RPG's that doesnt get boring after a while. Its terribly difficult to start with though, and theres a lot of level-building involved. Even though it seems pretty fun, u'll be stressed if a boss ever kicks your ass. Fortunately, ive only been wiped out once. Ive played about 19 hrs so far, just got Angelo. Hero Lv 16, Yangus Lv 17, Jessica Lv 14, Angelo Lv 14. Sumthing like that anyway, or something close to that. I think im doing pretty well, whats ur view Tokijin? Im Out for the night, see you all later.

I haven't been playing DQVIII as much of late. I think I just got sick of exploring. My guys were massively overleveled, plus I've manipulated my skill points well, so I've got some kick ass abilities. Dragon Quest VIII is a great game. A couple words of advice: 1. The world is vast. Don't get so caught up exploring that you lose interest in the game. 2. Pour all your skill points into a single category. Spreading them out is useless, the powerful abilities are all in the upper skill levels. Pick one you like and stick with it.

i will never get tired of final fantasy , it has been one of the main joys of my life. ive been playing since it came out on nintendo when i was a boy .. to me its more than a game .. it is integrated into my memories and life .. it has also reflected major points in my real life .. on oct 22 2001 i was playing ff tactics , i had just started the game over to try and get some more of the secrets, i got a call from my sister saying that my father was on his death bed and wasent gonna last long .. he was at the time in a V.A. hospital on the other side of texas .. i had lent my car out to a freind so he would have a ride to work .. with nothing to do exsept wait for my freind to get home from work before i headed off to see my father before he went .. i played the game .. i came across the scene where ramzas father was saying farewell to his sons .. when the text came up .. " be a good knight ramza " (or something like that he said ) and then died .. i remember looking at the clock .. it was 3:41 pm .. my freind got home and i immediatly rushed to the the hospital .. a 6 hour drive from where i was .. when i got there he was gone .. and my whole family was there .. we talked for a while and then i asked my sister how late was i from seeing him ... she didint know so she asked the nurse .. he was called dead at 3:41 pm .
coincedence ... maybe to you . but not to me . to me it was the closest thing i ever had to saying goodbye .. and it was like the game knew somehow .. even though i know it couldint have .. maybe it was god who timed that just right knowing i wasent goona be able to make it . after that scene .. something changed .. i wasent able to win any matches .. it was the first time in my life that i couldint get into the game enough to win the easyest battles .. and i was well over par for levels .. of course that faded and now im back in action better than ever .. but i cant forget it .. ill never forget it .. and i dont want to .. .. i have been dissapointed with ffx2 , the problem with it is that it was corney as hell .. the missions were kinda stupid .. id much rather have it the way ffx was .. but the thing that bugged me the most is that the whole story of yuna looking for tidus is BS ! if you watch the end of ffx it perfectly clear that tidus returnes to yuna .. youve got to watch after the credits to see it but its like they forgot all about adding that .. thats the only thing that gives ffx a good ending in my opinion ..
see .. if you watch .. you see yuna at the dock wistling her ass off .. then she makes the speech and then the credits .. but after the credits tidus reforms in the water and swims out... basicly .. she whistled and he came running .. but in ffx2 hes nowhere to be found and she hasent seen him since .. its crap .. screws up my ending and pisses me off ... that game was made for nothing but profits .. im sure they all are but it didint have the final fantasy feel to me .. it seems as if they are riding this whole tidus and yuna look as well i mean has anyone seen the screen shots for ff12?
the main characters look like tidus and yuna , just a little different in body structures ... i miss the good ol days .. like when there was a new ff coming out the character looked like none other .. like when ff8 came out .. cloud and squall .. they look nothing alike .. and thats great .. but if ff8 s main character looked just like cloud ..but just a little different .. that would kinda suck .. even though cloud strife is my hero and all ...
well this has went on long enough .. have a good one people later..

You're not the only one who ties games to life. I remember Xenogears made me question a lot of things about God, religion, and life. It was just a game, but still. It made me think.
*FFX Spoilers*

I think the thing about the ending of FFX with Tidus reforming was more symbolism. Remember he was a product of the Fayth that summoned Sin. He never really existed at least not as a "living" thing. Yuna makes her speech about how we've all lost someone we loved, I think that just means as long as she remembers Tidus, he'll always be with her.

attention !!!! spoilers!!!,, tokijin ,hmmm im not sure about that .. see dream or not they still went to the far plane with braska and auron .. and in that game when you make a promise you can stay alive beyond death to fufill it .. like auron did for braska for yuna .. thats what i think they were implying when she was up there wistling and then he appeared because they made that promise that if she whistled .. he would come running .. it ties in a little more logicly id say .. its like ff advent children .. now mind you ,, ive never seen it . but if red X111 were to die in it .(which im sure he doesint) that would be really messed up due to the fact that after the credits in ff7 you see him and his children (or im geussing are his children) running to a cliff that looks over midgar 500 years in the future .. its like if he died in the movie .. it wouldint make sence to me .. just like it didint make sence to me about ffx2 ..but thats a good responce to it i just seriously think they messed up on that one though, thanks for the replie dude it seems like your always around the corner helping me out when i need it bud ... thanks

Yeah could be, I don't remember as much about FFX as you do. Wasn't the reason Auron was still alive was that nobody ever performed the Dance of the Fayth or whatever to him? That was the same reason Seymour wasn't sent when you killed him the first time. They gave it away at the entrance to the FarPlane that he was dead. Auron was a bad ass mofo.

auron was the shiznit dude :} , i see your point .. but then again he was able to travel between worlds as a promise to tiduses father ject.(or however u spell it, of course with jects help but still)
and the fact that they were real there but dreams to begin with would make it possible i geuss... i think auron sayed something about not belonging at the farplane .. because of the promise i presume .. as for seamore butts hehe .. it was his purpose of evil that kept him going .. in any situation he always found the best way to gain more power .. even in sin he was trying to figure out a way to control it .. he sayed he had all the time in the world to figure it out .
the dead were even able to carry spheres through with them like lord jyscal did .. and jyscal was able to get through the farplane because his purpose was to stop semour .. just as aurons purpose was to guard yuna and help break the cycle of sin .. but anyways here i am going on and on lol .. those are just my thierous of it ..
but really beat the game again and watch closly at yuna at the dock and after the credits at tidus coming out of the water.. youll see what i mean dude .. and really it makes the ending soo much better .. cause i was pissed at first .. cause i thought it wasent a very happy ending .. untill i saw that .. that made the ending awesome to me at least.. ok ok im gonna shut up now lol later dude

Well like I said, I haven't played thru FFX in like 4 years. You definitely remember more of it than I do. I'll play through it again sometime (I've got a modchip and the PAL version complete with Dark Aeons and Pennance), but it's not high on the list. I've got too many other games and things to worry about. Cheers!

Well yeah don't say it. I know you get an airship or ability to fly or something, but I don't know exactly what. I'm right at Arcadia, I don't think the games that much longer. Last continent, Demon World, the end, or so I think. Don't spoil anything.
