I have two sets of VOBs. The particular DVD I'm working with is split to two sides of the disc. Half of the movie is on side a and the second half is on side b. Both sides of disc have tons of extras. I want to rip out the extras and merge the VOBS from both sides of the disc into one video stream. Then I want to add a menu system back for chapter selection etc. What tools should I use to accomplish this? I believe Virtualdubmod suppors VOB files and I could append the second set of VOBs to the first. What software do I need to accomplish my goal. Any help is extremely appreciated. I don't mind having to make my own menu system for the DVD if it is required.

Hmm.. interesting tool, but not quite what I'm looking for. I have successfully merged both sets of my VOBS into one set using VOBEdit. The problem I have now is the original menu. Half of the Menu is on Disc 1, and then there is an additional menu on disc 2. I'm not sure how to merge these, and I don't know if I even can. I'd like to just create a new menu.

From that guide, it sure looks like it will do exactly what you want, except you will have two menues, but not a menu of your chooseing.

Actually, at the bottom of that page it says "customize menu", check it out.

Good luck,

Rich
