this is just a "best guess", but I would think the best way is to install K-lite first, then XviD. That way you overwrite any files that need to be updated. It should work fine. I use both, and have no trouble.

Thanks
I would try tu run XviD with the klite witch is a previus version, that`s why it hasn`t the opcions of configuration that XviD whith virtual dub and FFDShow you can fix.
thanks again

Gotta watch the overlaping codec installs it can thro Media palyer classic for a loop and well any other media player that uses installed codecs*L*
I usealy install a codec pack frist with the codecs I have new versions of in the off option so it wont install them, after its dont I install XviD and or masroka reboot if needed and leave the evil h.whatever codec and FFDShow for last.
but I wish soemone would make a codec lsiting, editing, removeing program all these codecs drive me nuts!

There is a program called AVICodec which will list all your codecs and allow you to enable and disable them. Not quite what your looking for but closest thing I know to it.

Indeed, although I attempted to disable a certain codec as it was interfering with Nero MP4 codec,(the codec was M something) but it did not disable it. but i did not have time to mess with it in detail, but good luck none the less and I prefer AVICodec over GSpot if your familiar with it already.

Well now you can use AVICodec which I like better. ;) But your free to use your choice of software.
