I recently backed up Wild Arms 4, im using swap magic 3.6 does this game need to be rebuilt for it to work? any help would be appreciated thnx...

I dont know about you but I cant get the backup to work at all , even when it was rebuilt. Swap magic would give me the blue good screen but then the ps2 screen would come saying that it wasn't a ps2 disc

no it doesn't need to be rebuilt I burn it using DVD Decrypter under 1x and I use swap magic 3.3 and it works fine. hope this information help you.

In DVD Decrypter there a setting write speed that you can adjust the speed. I use maxell DVD+R 8x to burn that game.

i believe wild arms 4 is a DVD-9???,cant confirm???

and for those of you who have it on a dvd-5(ripped version),it will probably crash about 2/3 rd's of the way through

You might be thinking of Wild Arms: Alter Code F Hursty. Wild Arms 4 is DVD-5 as far as I know. I downloaded the DVD-5 rip of Wild Arms: Alter Code F, I wouldn't be surprised at all if that crashed half way through. I know an original version backed up is around 8GB's. The DVD-5 rip of it I have is 4.27GB's. When compared to the full version, it seems all that was missing was some movie files and the ending. Wild Arms 4 is DVD-5 as far as I know. I haven't seen any reports suggesting otherwise.

i used Nero at 2.5 to back it up
loaded swap magic
then load dvd loader or cd loader
it work great no need to do anything else

I have the NTSC version and ripped it using DVD Decrypter. It's not a DVD9 and shouldn't need to be rebuilt.
