No, it doesn't. If you go 'file' then 'add folder to library', all you have to do is locate your Limewire folder and click OK and all media files in there will be added to iTunes

thanx, but i tried that, it didnt have my limewire folder anywhere, though then i tried "add file to library" and i found my limewire file but when i clicked on it, it didnt transfur my music. Im sooooo confused, i really need ur help lethal!!! pleazzzz help!!!!!!!!

hmmm, what format is the music in? i.e is it MP3, or WMA, or AAC...etc..?

Right Click on it, and scroll down to 'properties', then you'll get this menu:
What does it say on your menu next to 'type of file'?

the limewire on my desktop says shortcut, and the limewire in my programs says file folder.

ok, my limewire music is on my itunes but its not in my library, its in something like the library, like a folder or file, how do i put it into my library so i can put it on my ipod. I tried to drag it put it wont work. Or how do i put it on a playlist???

You mean it's in your iTunes folder, but not your iTunes library? You will have to import it by going;
FILE-->ADD FOLDER TO LIBRARY-->(then locate your folder with the music in :)

ok, well its just not working, i couldnt find the limewire folder. so how do u put the music ON limewire onto ur ipod??? Like right when u open limewire, how do u put the music on ur limewire onto ur ipod???

try going to the folder that the limewire music is in in itunes. then click and drag the songs you need to transfer into the library.

i also have a similar problem that i just noticed. I have a folder inside of my itunes that is like the icon that says ipod (it has an eject button on the right) but when i try to put it into the library it wont go. i clicked and tryed to drag it over but it wont drag.
Not sure why. Thanks!

YEA!!!!!! I did it. I opened my limewire , and my itunes, then i draged the songs from limewire to my itunes library and it works, and to do it faster, i click it, hold shift, then hightlight all the songs i want, then i click the last one and hold by draging it, and then i update my ipod and it works!!!!!!! Thanks for everything LETHAL_B, and jzo123!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!! you really changed my life , because with out u, i wouldnt have got a chance to use my ipod, or get songs on it!!! thanks, bye!!! I bought my ipod nano at christmas, and ive downloaded music and pictures and stuff. It works beautifully, but one day it wouldnt turn off, i tried holding the play/pause button, but it didnt work, i looked in the manual for troubleshooting, and there was none. It was running out of power, so i put in my alarm/clock radio for ipod's. It charged but it still wouldnt turn off, so i dont know wat to do, please help me!!!!!
