is it safer to download network tv shows on bittorent? Has anyone been sued over it. Things such as family guy, lost, and full metal alchemist, those kind of things. Thanks

Nothing can be considered "safe" where filesharing.

But as far as bittorrent is concerned, not may people have been sued for using the bittorrent network. I don't think the count is even in the hundreds yet..

You are 99.9% safe. To increase that, get peerguardian2

Happy Torrenting :D

Thanks for the reply, but are certain things more safe than others. I havent really heard about MPAA going after peopel who download tv shows much. I was caught downloading rome, liek alot of people, and was warned.

Well make sure you have peerguardian installed, and you should be ok. But don't underestimate the MPAA, they are just as bad as the RIAA.

oh really? i thought that bittorent was the least safe because the ips are readily there for all to see? Sorry its been a year since ive used Bt, because of the MPAA and RIAA, and was wondering if anything has changed in terms of how safe it is to use.

thanks
