Here's my problem.I use the swap magic disc to load kingdom hearts up. I get to select difficulty if I want vibration exc. Then I accept them. After that part nothing else happens. Once in a while when i try to load it, it will let me hit the start button and it will say pause on the screen, also if i take out the controler it says to insert one. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this. This is what I have tried.

I went to www.swapmagicfix.com/cdloader.html to see how to use the cdloader cause it says you have to use 5v3 no pn option. I set that and boot the game exc. but it does the same thing still freezes(hangs) in the same spot. I tried using the other options on cdloader even tried the dvdloader program to no avail. I get to the same place as I do when I use just the swap magic discs :( I know i'm using the right cdloader cause i tried the cdloader and nothing shows up for options. But when i use the cdloader v7 I get them. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but if someone could help i'd appreciate it. THANKS!

What kind of media are you using? Use quality media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. Also you may want to try Zone Loader: http://www.sksapps.com/index.php?page=mis.html

I'm using memorex dvd-r's 16x I burnt at 8x last time re-burnded at 4x will see if that works. I will try zoneloader as well :D I'll post back here with results thanks for the help/attention your really my only hope :'(

Memorex is horrible. 8x is too fast. Get some better media and burn at 1/2 the speed of the media. I.E. 4x on an 8x DVD.

If it was the media though wouldn't it not even boot in the first place???

Anyways... I tried swapping with zoneloader cogswap swap magic every which way nothing worked!!!

The best thing that I got to work is when i did a toc refresh wth my devil may cry disk then it loaded fast and I got sound when i loaded the game up just not picture again.... :/

p.s. will goto office max for some khypermedia dvd-rs today thier on sale. I've used the cd's and have had no problems with them for ps2 games...

or i can pick up the office max brand dvd-rs which i've never had a problem with FUJIFILM03 is what they are ;) suggestions welcomed

I found a blank office max dvd am gonna try that later today. As for khypermedia it's been around for a while here in the states at least.

I looked on videohelp.com and it list the console reliability as poor so I wont pick that up :) Anyways ill post later.

Thank God. Get some Taiyo Yuden's or Verbatim's from http://www.supedmediastore.com We don't post that brand X media sucks because we don't like that particular brand, we post it because it does suck. At CompUSA or Office Depot you can find Maxell's made in Japan that are excellent quality. Make sure it says "Made in Japan" on the label. You can find Sony DVD+R's at chain stores as well that are made in Japan. Those are made by Taiyo Yuden. Again the "Made in Japan" on the label is the key. Also Sam's Club has 50 packs of Verbatim's for $15.

Well it worked with the office max DVD-R :o So it was the media that pisses me off :/ Do you mean http://www.supermediastore.com/ I will goto the store today and pick probably some officemax unless i find some other such as verbatim at about the same price. I find that so wierd that media does make a difference :'( But I will use them as dvd's ;) THANKS FOR THE HELP!

It actually matter on ur dvd burner, some burner maylove to use verbs but some might even prefer to use maxell.....so maybe pick up other media and test them out

What kind of media did you get the game to work on? The Kypermedia crap? Yeah Khypermedia isn't going work with any burner lol. Media does make a difference. Glitched raises a good point, certain burners work better with certain media. That's why it's important to keep your firmware up to date. It improves burn quality and compatiblility with different types of media. If you're going to a chain store, try to find some of those Maxells made in Japan. Those are excellent quality, on par with TY's.

It was the officemax fujifilm03 one. I went to the store today and they have different media :(
They have OM98959
and om96052
I couldn't find any information about them so I didn't buy them.

This was the first media though i've ever had problems with. And i'll try it on other games eventually to see if it was just the game. I just have to keep my eyes open for media thats good and that people have tested.

I don't know why people say Memorex is crapped my burned PS2 games on it work like a charm, just don't burn the CD at max speed and it will be fine.
